Hanwha SolarOne Reports 2Q 2012 Results

Sales increase, but average selling price declines dramatically

Hanwha SolarOne Co., Ltd., a vertically integrated manufacturer of silicon ingots, wafers and photovoltaic (PV) cells and modules in China, reported its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2012. Total net revenues were RMB1,071.7 million (US$168.7 million), an increase of 33.3% from 1Q12, and a decrease of 40.4% from 2Q11.
